Velcro & Hook & Loop

Velcro consists of two sides. One side is the hook side of VELCRO Brand products, which feels rough and scratchy. This hook side is made up of countless tiny loops that are cut at just the right angle to form little hooks. These hooks can stick to just about anything, including carpet, clothing, pets, furniture, and more. On the other hand, the loop side of VELCRO is the soft and fuzzy side. This loop is designed to work together with the hook side. Essentially, it’s a collection of strands of different sizes and lengths that create a cozy spot for the hooks to latch onto. When you press the hook and loop together, you create a fastener that’s strong and durable, yet still easy to pull apart. The tape has a “self-adhesive” backing that sticks to wood, plastic, metal, and fabric without needing glue or additional fasteners. This makes it super simple to attach items to walls, hang pictures, organize cords, and connect fabrics effortlessly.
