This PCI Express serial card adds 16 high-speed RS232 ports to your standard or low-profile desktop or server PC. This lets you maximize the number of available DB9 RS232 ports that are available for connecting your serial-based devices and equipment, while using only a single PCI Express (PCIe) slot. It's the perfect solution for adding the serial ports you need, even if your desktop PC or server only has a limited number of PCIe expansion slots.
You can install the serial card to add 16 high-performance DB9 RS232 serial ports from a single PCIe slot. With two breakout cables of 8 ports each, the PCIe serial card maximizes the density of DB9 RS232 ports on a server or desktop computer. It's ideal for system upgrades in a wide range of applications, including manufacturing equipment, POS equipment, security devices such as surveillance cameras, and environment or building control systems.
The serial card is compliant with PCI Express 1.0a specification, and it's compatible with 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x and 16x PCI Express slots.
The PCIe serial card delivers high-performance, high-speed serial communication, with support for data transfer rates of up to 921.6 Kbps.
The serial card is easy to install and configure, and compatible with a broad range of Windows and Linux operating systems. The card features IRQ sharing and supports plug-and-play serial device connections, which makes it convenient and easy to connect serial devices. Items will be be sent by either post or courier. Generally up to 85% of the goods available are sent out the same day for overnight delivery (if requested). Some items such as furniture or special order items can take up to 14 days. If your item is required urgently please contact us prior to placing an order by email or telephone to confirm. (UK Mainland only, excluding the Scottish Highlands, Islands and other remote areas)
Deliveries are made up to 6pm and someone should be available to receive them. If no one is available then a card will be left and a further attempt will be made generally within 48 hours.
If Item is not accepted by you for any reason, then the postage expenses shall be paid by you and a cancellation charge of a minimum of 20% of the order value will be charged for any such non acceptance.

All orders below £15 (excluding VAT) will incur a delivery charge £6.75 plus VAT for UK mainland. for Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man may incur charge £12 plus VAT for order values under £400 Excluding VAT.
Deliveries to Northern Ireland can take up to 6 working days for an economy courier or within 72 hours with an express courier. Some items may be chargeable to Northern Ireland these costs will be presented to you at the checkout.
For deliveries outside the E.U. all local taxes, surcharges, duties, if incurred are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
We will accept returns provided that they have not been opened and are sent back in perfect selling condition (this includes any retail packaging). Returns must be received back to us within 7 working days of receipt. There will be a 20% re-stocking fee applied to most returns, we may waive this fee at our discretion in certain circumstances.
We are unable to accept any returns for shipments that have been made outside mainland UK. We are also unable to accept returns or cancellations on special orders. Special order items also includes Plan Chests, Plan Filing Cabinets and Bobby Trolley's.
Any items that are damaged need to be reported within 24 hours of receipt. Any damages reported outside this period will not be accepted. Replacement orders will be sent carriage free ASAP.
Please email us before trying to return any item as you will require an RMA number otherwise your return will be rejected.
